Provide the best learning spaces and innovative processes to meet the needs of students at their specific stages of learning, which are respectful of the environment and reflect the key principles of sustainability.

Multi Campus College

The Mount Macedon site, whilst beautiful and unique, has vulnerabilities which may limit our ability to achieve the long term vision to be an Early Learning to Year 12 College. Developing the Woodend site and enhancing the Mount Macedon site in a planned and integrated way will enable the realisation of our vision..

Goal

To create a viable and sustainable future for the College by establishing an additional campus that will provide space for long term growth and improve educational outcomes.

Why do this

The Woodend campus will provide the additional space and resources to achieve our long term vision. The College’s motto, Unum Corpus Multi Sumus (One Body, Many Parts) will guide the development. As the Junior, Middle and Senior Schools grow and develop, they remain a part of the overall College community.

Strategies

  • Effectively manage the development of the Woodend campus and evolution of the Mount Macedon campus.
  • Give special attention to ensuring continuation and success of “whole College” events.
  • Articulate and uphold clear identities for Junior, Middle and Senior Schools, while ensuring clear curriculum continuity.
  • Provide a broad range of meaningful campus activities that encourage the College community to be connected to both sites.
  • Proactively identify and manage the potential impacts on people, processes and goals as the College grows.
  • Develop best-possible expenditure projections for multi campus infrastructure, development and maintenance.
