Here’s what’s happening at Braemar College over forthcoming weeks:

Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF)

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) commenced in 2015 for four years and will provide payments for eligible students to attend camps, sports and excursions.

The 2017 Academic Assembly was conducted on Tuesday 7 February. Heyward Hall was at capacity with Old Collegians, parents, staff and students. Our guest speaker was Mr Matt Testro (OC’2014).

A day of total fire ban has been declared for the Central District on Thursday 9 February 2017. The College will be closed to students and buses will not run.

Student should check SEQTA for the work set by their teachers.

The Braemar College House Swimming Carnival will be conducted on Wednesday 8 February 2017 at the Sunbury Aquatic Centre.

As part of our risk management processes for other swimming activities throughout the year, the College staff utilise this event to observe students and their swimming capabilities over a 50 m distance.

Please note that there will be an altered bus timetable for the swimming carnival.

This will allow students to arrive at the aquatic centre by 8:20-8:25am, and depart at 4:00-4:15pm.

Please check the revised bus timetable below to familiarise yourself with the revised pick up and drop off times.

Our Year 7 Indonesian students are off to an enthusiastic start.

Here they are performing their first two Indonesian songs in front of the Indonesian flag.

Braemar College has rescheduled some of this week’s programs and events as a result of today’s Total Fire Ban (TFB). Please note the updated arrangements as follows:

Tuesday 31 January

From the bus turning circle, students will be directed to their locker areas / classrooms to drop off their bags.

On Wednesday 8 February 2017, the Year 5 to 12 College House Swimming Carnival will take place at the Sunbury Aquatic Centre, Ligar Street Sunbury. The carnival will commence at 8.30am and conclude at 4.00pm.

Following today’s Total Fire Ban Day, the College will open for the first day of the academic year.

Bus schedules are in place, Organs Coaches should be checked for details.

The program that would be conducted today has been modified slightly and the details have been published.
